There is, but it's a big one. The Blossom platform has a 500MB limit on uploaded data files - find out how to avoid it here.

Is there a data limit for a video?

Yes, absolutely! There is a 500MB maximum limit per file. However, the device and the type of camera resolution of the video will also affect the size of what can be uploaded. Longer videos can certainly be uploaded but, the recommended video length is approximately 1 minute long and so the 500MB data limit will be more than sufficient for uploads.

Top tip! If the file is of a bigger size, it will in turn take a little longer to upload.

Why is there a data limit for video?

While Blossom's platforms are all hosted separately from each other with no sharing of data between them, they all count towards Blossom's overall server limit as a company. If too many large files were uploaded at the same time, Blossom could go down for everyone, and if too many large files were stored then file uploading might get turned off for everyone too.
