Funding allocation options
On Blossom we have three different funding types that a nursery is able to set up.
These are listed below with a description of each one.
Manually allocate funded hours to sessions
The funded hours can be manually allocated to specific sessions/hours for each child in their profile. A progress bar will show you exactly which hours are funded and paid.
When using this funding type the funding calculation can only be actuals. This is because you are specifically choosing where to apply the funding. In turn, in the. child's profile you will need to set their fee calculation for sessions to actuals also.
Subtract funding amount from invoice
The system will deduct the amount allocated for funding, rather than the hours.
When using this funding type the funding calculation can be actual or average.
Allocate funded hours to monthly cheapest sessions
The system will automatically select the cheapest hours in an invoice period and allocate the funding to these hours.
When using this funding type the funding calculation can be actual or average.
