If you're trying to complete an enquiry form, you may see the message below:

“Your computer or network may be sending automated queries”

This is a security message shown by Google reCAPTCHA, which we use to help keep our forms safe and free from spam or bots.

Don't worry — this isn’t caused by anything you’ve done wrong, and it's usually quick to fix.

Why does this message appear?

Google shows this message when it thinks there might be a lot of automated activity coming from your network. This can happen for a few reasons:

  • You’re using a shared network, like at work, school, or a public WiFi (e.g. in a coffee shop or airport).

  • There’s a problem with your browser's stored data (cookies or cache).

  • Your internet connection has recently made lots of requests to Google services.

  • You’re using a VPN or privacy tool that hides your IP address.

How to fix it

Here are a few simple things you can try to resolve the issue:

  • Switch to a different internet connection

If you're using public WiFi, try switching to your mobile data (4G/5G) or a home internet connection.

  • Turn off your VPN or privacy browser

If you use a VPN or a privacy-focused browser, try turning it off temporarily and then reload the form.

  • Clear your browser’s cookies and cache

Sometimes old or broken data in your browser can cause this issue. Clearing your cookies and cache often fixes it.

📌Top tip: To find a guide for your device or browser, click here or search for: “How to clear cookies and cache in [internet browser name]”

  • Try a different browser or device

If you’re still having trouble, open the form on a different device (like your phone) or use a different browser (like Chrome or Safari).
