First and foremost, to get started you will need to input your specific settings and whether you wish to enable or disable instant messaging for parents. To do this please follow the steps below.

  • More > Settings > General > Messaging > Enable instant messenger for parents > Yes or no > Click the tick to save.

Next, you are able to select additional staff members to receive messages from parents.

Remember! By default all managers will be selected. However, you are able to add an additional staff member if you wish.

  • Settings > General > Staff members assigned to rooms for messaging > Click the edit key on specific room > Assign specific staff member > Save.

Now, that your settings have been configured you are all ready to start using the instant messaging feature!
