Instant Messaging Settings

First and foremost, to get started you will need to input your specific settings and whether you wish to enable or disable instant messaging for parents. To do this please follow the steps below.

  • More > Settings > Parent App > Parent communication > Messaging > Enable instant messenger for parents > Switch the toggle to yes > Save.

Next, you will need to select the staff members you wish to receive messages and notifications from the parents once they have sent a message.

Remember! By default, all managers will be selected.

  • More > Settings > Parent App > Parent communication > Staff notifications > Click edit on the specific room > Assign the staff members > Save

Now, that your settings have been configured you are all ready to start using the instant messaging feature!
