Finance 3 Invoice Settings

Let's begin your Finance 3 setup. Most importantly, you will need to input your invoice settings. Below, is a how-to guide.

How to access your invoice settings.

  • More > Settings > Finance > Invoicing > Invoice settings > Click edit on each section & input details > Save.

Start invoice from: This is the date whereby your invoices will begin.

Annualised and packaged invoices

This is where you will select your billing method for both annualised and packaged invoices. You will need to input the specific weeks and months.

There is an additional toggle that states 'allow overwrites on child level'. Activating this toggle will allow you to override the information input at the individual child level.

Invoice number sequencing

Here you can set the automated number sequencing to generate invoice receipts and credit note numbers.

Invoice display

You have two options to select from, grouped item types without cost breakdown & item types with a cost breakdown.

Invoice notes & reminders

Additional Invoice Notes*: These are additional notes you are able to add to your invoice. For example, you could add your registration number. Alternatively, you could add a message that changes each month like ‘Happy Easter’. You are also able to add multiple notes by clicking ‘add another note’.

Additional statement account notes*: You are able to add notes to your statement of account. These will be visible when the statement of account is sent to parents or downloaded.

*Remember, the notes for both items above will be visible on all invoices & statements of account.

Invoice due date: This is setting the timeframe between the invoice date & when the invoice is due. For example, if the invoice date is 01/03/2023 & it is due 7 days after the invoice due date would be set to 7 days.

Automated payment reminders to bill payers: You are able to set automated payment reminders to bill payers to eliminate the payments from being overdue. For example, you have the option to select the number of days & whether the reminder should be sent out after or before the invoice due date.

Invoice bank details

This is where you will need to put the nursery bank details. They will appear on all invoices.
