Detailed revenue report

This report provides an overview of your Total Income (Total invoiced amount + Funding income).

You can filter the report by:

  • Invoice date or created date.

  • Date range: This will filter the report by financial actions within the specified date range.

  • Invoice status: Invoices relating to the status selected will be displayed.

Below the chart, you will see a list of your invoices. Scroll to the right to see information related to each invoice, including the following:

  • Extra Items: Extra item costs allocated to this invoice.

  • Extra Sessions: Extra session costs allocated to this invoice.

  • Funding deducted: The funding deducted from this invoice as a monetary value.

  • Discounts: Any discounts applied and deducted from specific invoice.

  • Other: This pulls through from the ‘other’ selection on the ‘add line item’ on children’s invoices.

  • Total Invoice amount: The total amount invoiced.

  • Funding income: The funding income received by your local authority for the period of this invoice.

  • Total Income: Fee income + Funding income

  • Deposit and Deposit Refund: These amounts are not included in the total income, but are included in the total outstanding.

Annual revenue report

This report provides a 12-month overview of total invoiced and forecasted income. It will include your fees in funding.

Bar graph: What do the dark green and light green colours represent?

The dark green is the total invoiced amount & the light green is the funding income.

Bar graph: What is the grey line?

This line is your forecasted income.

Why does this report not show all children’s names?

The annual revenue report gives you a monthly breakdown, taking into account finances from the child’s profile, but does not specifically list all children. To see a breakdown of children, you will want to view the forecasting report.

Why are there black figures & green figures?

The green shows the actual amount invoiced & black shows the forecasted amount. Any changes made to booking patterns, fee structure, attendance periods, etc. will impact the black forecasted amount. We always recommend to only look at your forecasted figures in the future.

Revenue per age group & Revenue per room

These reports show the total revenue for different age groups and rooms in the setting.

The data is based on the child’s age/room when the invoice was raised, so do note that some children may have changed groups since that date.

On the group platform, this report looks similar, but summarises the data per overall setting. To view the nursery-level data, simply click on the site name.
