Once you've connected your Stripe account, it's time to announce how useful Blossom's BE Paid will be for your parents.

Below are 3 email templates to communicate the information that parents need to know:


1️⃣Email to parents before launching BE Paid

Subject: Exciting Update – Pay Nursery Fees via the Blossom App!

Dear Parents,

We’re excited to introduce a new feature on the Blossom App that will be rolling out in the coming weeks—online fee payments! This update will make managing your nursery payments even more convenient, allowing you to handle everything in one place. You’ll also have full visibility of your payment history, making it easier to track your transactions.

You’ll be able to make payments through the app using:

  • Direct Debit

  • Debit/Credit Card

  • Apple Pay / Google Pay

While the payment feature will soon be visible in the app, we kindly ask that you wait for our official launch before using it. We are currently finalising preparations to ensure everything runs smoothly. During this period, we’ll keep you informed and be available to assist with any questions or concerns.

Once the feature is fully live, all payments will need to be made through the app.

2️⃣Email to parents for Direct Debit & card payments

Subject: Important: Action Required – Set Up Your Payment Method

Dear Parents,

We’re excited to share that the payment feature on the Blossom App is now live, making fee payments easier and more convenient for you!

It is going to be mandatory to pay via the app. To ensure a smooth transition, please set up your payment details in the Parent App by XX/XX/XX by following these steps:

  • BACS Direct Debit

    • Parent App > 3 bar menu > Settings > Wallet > Recurring payments > Set up > BACS Direct Debit > Set up recurring payment > enter account details and confirm set up.

  • Debit/Credit card

    • Parent App > 3 bar menu > Settings > Wallet > Payment methods > Add card > input card details > Save.

Depending on your device, you can also use Google Pay or Apple Pay if your card has already been added to your phone’s wallet.

For future invoices please ensure that you make payment via the app by the invoice due date.

If you use Tax-Free Childcare, you may continue paying this way, as long as the full balance is covered.

3️⃣Email to parents for Direct Debit only payments

Some nurseries may prefer to accept payments exclusively via Direct Debit. Below, you’ll find a sample email to guide parents through setting up their Direct Debit on the app.

Subject: Important: Action Required – Set Up Your Direct Debit

Dear Parents,

We’re excited to share that the payment feature on the Blossom App is now live, making fee payments easier and more convenient for you!

Going forward, Direct Debit will be our primary payment method, and we will no longer accept card payments unless otherwise advised. To ensure a smooth transition, please set up your Direct Debit in the Parent App by XX/XX/XX by following these steps:

  • Parent App > 3 bar menu > Settings > Wallet > Recurring payments > Set up > BACS Direct Debit > Set up recurring payment > enter account details and confirm set up.

Important Payment Information:

Your Direct Debit payment will be processed on the (20th, for example) of each month, covering any outstanding balance on your account.

If you pay with Childcare Vouchers, we must receive these by (insert date) each month to ensure they are deducted before your Direct Debit is processed. If vouchers are not received by this date, the full outstanding amount will be taken via Direct Debit.

If you use Tax-Free Childcare, you may continue paying this way, as long as the full balance is covered.
