Forecasting Report

The group forecasting report provides a monthly overview of forecasted fees and actual income for the year.

  • Organisational View > Reports > Forecasting

Once the report has been generated you are able to filter by the specific year and you will be able to see a line graph. On the line graph you can hover over the black dots which presents fee income, funding income & forecast.

Top tip: Once the invoices have been raised for the specific month only then the forecast will be split between fee income & funding income.

Below the line graph there is a further breakdown that displays the following information.

  • Months

  • Site name (You can also click the site name which will direct you to the nursery level forecasting report which breaks the figures down further to the specific child).

  • Total revenue.

Next to the month, you are able to click the green arrow. This will provide further information such as;

  • Line items within the invoices

  • Fee income

  • Funding income

  • Total revenue

On the report prior to invoicing there will be black figures & once the invoices for the specific month have been raised there will be green figures visible.

Black Figures: Forecasted income.

Green Figures: Actual invoiced amount.

Remember, the reports are based on the invoice date. This means that if you are looking at your actual invoiced amount for March. The invoice date for the March invoices will need to be dated within March.

Top tip: You may wish to use this report in conjunction with the annual revenue report. This is because the forecasting report breaks the annual revenue report information down further to forecasted revenue per site.

How do you export the forecasting report?
