Adding a staff member to Blossom couldn't be simpler. Find out how here, along with how to set your access levels.

Add a staff member

  • More > Staff > + Add staff members.

You can create as many staff members as you like with different levels of access.

Below is the information you can add for a staff member. Mandatory fields are marked with an asterisk (*):

General Information

Other information

  • Permission*

  • Title

  • First name, surname*

  • Username*

  • Email address*

  • Contact number

  • Date of birth

  • Address and postcode

  • Payroll number

  • Qualification

  • 1:13 Staff child qualification

  • DBS Certificate details

  • Bio for parents to view

You can filter the staff list by ‘Active’, ‘Pending’ or ‘Archived’ staff members in the dropdown menu at the top:

  • Active: These staff members have set their password and can use Blossom.

  • Pending: These staff members have been invited to use Blossom, but have not followed the link in their email to set their password yet.

    • To resend staff invitation: Click into pending staff member's profile > Edit > Resend Invitation.

  • Archived: These staff members have been archived from the system and can no longer access Blossom.

Staff Permission Levels

There are several staff access levels to choose from. Directors and Managers have access to all areas, whereas Register-only Staff would have the lowest level of access:

Group Level

  • Director

  • National Administrator

  • Finance Administrator

  • Area Manager

Nursery Level

  • Manager

  • Nursery Administrator

  • Deputy Manager

  • Room Leader

  • Senior Practitioner

  • Practitioner

  • Register-only Staff
