Parents can request extra sessions through the Blossom Parent App! Read below to see how this feature works.

Requesting extra sessions from the Parent App

You can request extra sessions by following the steps below:

  • Parent App > Child Schedule > Click + in top right corner > Request extra session > Drag the grey bar down the screen to view a calendar of future dates > Select date > Click 'Add' next to the bookable sessions > View Requests > Add a note for the nursery (optional) > Send Requests.

Once you click 'Send Requests', it will be delivered to the nursery for approval. You will be notified via parent app and email once the nursery approves or declines the extra session.


Why can't I see the option to request extra sessions?

  • Please ensure you have updated your app to the latest version. You can find this in your device's Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

  • It may mean that your nursery does not have this feature enabled. Reach out to the nursery directly if you have any queries about this.

Can I delete an extra session I've already requested?

  • You can only remove an extra session request before it has been sent to the nursery. Once the request is sent, you are unable to delete your request.

  • Contact the nursery directly, and they can decline the request from their side.
