Email to Parents for Direct Debit only payments
Many nurseries may only wish to take payment via Direct Debit. Please see below an example email to help Parents set up their direct debit on the app. As well as an example email that can be sent out once you have completed your invoice run.
Example email to set up direct debits
Subject line: Important | Please set up your Direct Debits
Good morning/afternoon/evening parents,
We have good news! The Direct Debit and payment feature on the Blossom App is now live and will make paying your fees so much more convenient for you!
The Direct Debit feature is going to be mandatory and we won't be accepting any card payments unless otherwise advised. Please could we ask that you enter your bank details into the Parent App by XX/XX/XX by following the steps below.
Parent App > Click the three bar menu > Select Settings > Select Wallet > Select 'Add Payment' > Select 'BACS Direct Debit' > Enter account details > Set up Direct Debit.
Please note, the amount that will be taken on the XX/XX/XX working day of the month by direct debit will be the outstanding balance on the account. Therefore, if you pay with Childcare Vouchers, we need to be receiving these payments by the XX/XX/XX of each month.
**If we do not receive the vouchers by this date, the direct debit will take the full outstanding amount.**
Lastly, if you pay using the Tax Free Childcare through the government account, you will still be able to pay this way each month as long as the whole amount is being paid.
If you have any queries, please don't hesitate to contact us and I'd be happy to help.
Kindest regards,
The Nursery Management Team
Example email to be sent following your invoice run
Good afternoon Parents,
The *INSERT MONTH* invoices have now been sent to all parents. The payment will be taken via Direct Debit. Could I kindly remind you to input your bank details into the app as soon as possible.
Please note, as previously mentioned, the amount that will be taken on XX/XX/XX will be the outstanding balance on the account. Therefore, if you pay with Childcare Vouchers, we need to be receiving these payments by the XX/XX/XX of each month.
Unfortunately, if we do not receive the vouchers by this date, the direct debit will take the full outstanding amount.
If you pay using the Tax-Free Childcare through the government account, please could you send an email to *INSERT NURSERY EMAIL ADDRESS* to inform us that this is your method of payment so we won't be expecting you to upload your bank details on the app.
Kind regards,
The Nursery Management Team
