Child's Profile Overview

A complete snapshot of each child – from attendance and bookings to learning journey, notes, and finances, all in one place.

To navigate to the Child's Profile go to: 

  • Children > Select Child.

From here, you can access their About section (including room moves & attendance), Contacts, Booking pattern, Learning Journey, Finance, Notes, Diary, and Safeguarding.


About Section

Profile

Ensure all child details in the About section are accurate. Pay close attention to the details below:

  • Start date/Leaving date: This can impact whether a child appears on the register.

  • Media Permissions: This can impact whether you can tag photos to share with families.

  • Health & Diet: Any preferences and allergies are flagged on the diary.

  • Toileting, Drinks from, Sleeps during the day: If 'Yes' is selected, the child will appear in the diary in these areas.

From the parent app, parents can update some (not all) information:

Gender (general information)

Address & postcode (general information)

Ethnicity (general information)

Siblings, position in family, language at home, parents marital status (Family)

Fussy eater (Health & diet)

Special Educational Needs, English as additional language (Development)

Toys, Books, Food, Other interests (Likes & Dislikes)

Room moves

  • Click the X next to the date range to view all previous and future room moves. You can make edits from this page, or the Room moves tab for the whole setting.

Attendance and Absences

  • Create an attendance report for the child in Formative Reports, and selecting the period for which you want to calculate attendance.

Files

  • Here you can upload any relevant files/documents pertaining to the child. Files can only be seen by staff members. Parents do not have access to these.
